SHOPPE
shoppe :: A deliberately archaic spelling of shop, used in the hopes of imbuing a store with old-fashioned charm or quaintness.
Tucked away in the back of our bakery, you’ll find our Shoppe - a general store of curated goods, inspired by our travels abroad + simple, country life here in the states, for a storied house + home and slow, meaningful living.
Our shelves are stocked with food pantry staples made of simple, organic ingredients by intentional makers both in small, rural areas here in the states, as well as internationally, carefully selected kitchenwares + tablewares designed to encourage creation + beauty, and unique housewares + tools for your garden, cooking, and hosting. Everything to inspire the call to
COME TO THE TABLE
for curating a lifegiving table
Grow your own food or buy from someone who does.
Collect books. Let them inspire + teach you new ways.
Let nature + what’s in season write your menu, set your rhythm + determine your pace.
Cook with others.
Set the table. Use the heirloom, fancy tableware passed on to you. And be okay if some of it gets broken.
Tell your stories. Even the ugly ones.
Make drinks a main dish.
Toast to something. Every meal.
Try new things.
Breakfast should be a buffet. Dinner should take hours. And your favorite drinks should bookend it all.
Have nothing in your home you do not believe to be beautiful or useful.
When God gives you more than you need, build a longer table, not a higher fence.
